Jest to bardzo specyficzny czas. Używany w bardzo szczególnych sytuacjach. Jest jednak bardzo prosty w strukturze, bo składa się z czasownika posiłkowego ‚had’ dla wszystkich osób oraz III formy czasownika głównego.
