Past Simple

Budowa

Czas Past Simple jest niezwykle łatwy w swojej konstrukcji.

Czasownik: To Be

Zacznijmy od czasownika ‚be’ (być) , jako że jego odmiana wygląda inaczej niż pozostałych czasowników w tym czasie gramatycznym.

Inne Czasowniki

Jeśli chodzi o pozostałe czasowniki, sprawa jest o wiele prostsza. W zdaniach twierdzących, dodajemy końcówkę ‚ed’ do czasowników regularnych. Nieregularne można znaleźć w tabelce w drugiej kolumnie (np. tutaj jest taka tabelka).Natomiast w przeczeniach i pytaniach czasownik główny wraca do swojej podstawowej formy, a my korzystamy z czasownika posiłkowego ‚did’ bądź ‚didn’t’ (jego forma jest taka sama dla wszystkich osób).
